MAYOWA OYELAKIN
I am a designer who enjoys creating well thought-out, engaging and memorable designs that connect ideas and people. I have an ever-growing passion and love for all forms of design and I value flexibility in both my creative process and my collaboration with others. I am drawn to projects that challenge me to explore different creative approaches while keeping and exercising my personal core principle of maintaining clarity, intention and a strong visual presence.
I am a graduate with a BFA in Graphic Design from the University at Buffalo and during my studies, I have gained experience in Logo Design, Poster Design, Branding Systems and Book Design. I have also work closely with my peers in the UBSA Marketing Department to deliver designs that balanced creativity with real world goals and expectations while adhering to strict deadlines and genuine feedback.
Outside of the professional setting, I enjoy lots of walks, biking, watching anime and soccer.
