OVERVIEW
This design was created for International Fiesta, a cultural celebration hosted by the University at Buffalo Student Association that brings together global traditions through dance, food, and performance. The theme for this year’s event, harmony, guided the visual direction of the identity.
The mark features a simple leaf form wrapping around the globe, symbolizing growth, unity, and the interconnectedness of cultures. Its circular movement reinforces the idea of the world coming together as one. A balanced color palette of light blue, green, and deep blue—placed opposite each other—represents both contrast and cohesion, reflecting cultural diversity within a shared space.
The clean, minimal design ensures clarity across applications while visually communicating the event’s core message: celebrating cultural difference through unity and harmony.
