This design was created for Spring Fest 2024, hosted by the University at Buffalo Student Association. The event theme was space, inspired by its May 4th date, referencing the cultural association with Star Wars. The visual identity blends outer-space imagery with music symbolism to reflect Spring Fest as both a themed and performance-driven event.

The logo incorporates space elements such as a planet and a rocket alongside a music visualizer, representing the live music focus of the festival. The color palette—red, blue, and green—draws from recognizable Star Wars-inspired tones and is used as a system where each color is tied to a specific performing artist based on their promotional imagery.

This approach creates a cohesive yet flexible identity that connects theme, performers, and promotion into a unified visual language, reinforcing the event’s concept while remaining clear and engaging across marketing materials.
